Infrastructure System and Support
The plans intended for production, protection and settlements in the municipality, particularly in the proposed growth centers and economic development corridors will not materialize without the essential infrastructure support system. Anticipating the social and economic activities that development may generate, the LGU shall provide for the necessary infrastructures appropriately as to their intended functions in the following major categories: 1) Social infrastructure – includes education (schools), health (barangay health centers), sports and recreation (public sports complex) facilities 2) Economic infrastructure – such as barangay markets (talipapas), trading centers, solid waste management facilities and services 3) Administrative support infrastructure – police and fire protection facilities and services, satellite public offices 4) Transportation infrastructure – covers roads and bridges and public transport terminals 5) Urban utilities – such as water supply, power supply and distribution, drainage and sewerage and telecommunications. SOURCE OF POTABLE WATER TECHNOWATER CORP. – a company established to provide and supplied potable water in Aliaga through pipe water system. At present the total volume of water supplied in ten (10) barangays were 48,768 cu.m. and it supplies 1,873 households. The company were upgrading and continue their construction to supply other barangay of Aliaga.
